OUR MISSION AND VISION
In the Rockaways we help individuals and families to access academic, economic, and civic opportunities that enhance their ability to strengthen their neighborhoods, succeed at school and work, raise healthy families, and become engaged members of their communities. We further seek to engage in providing low income housing, employment and adult training programs.
The Rockaway Center seeks to create better educational opportunities for all children by leading parents, policymakers and the media in boldly advocating for school choice, advancing the charter school movement, and creating resources that will improve the educational programs of public schools.
Rockaway Health is a patient consumer advocacy program designed to assist underserved residents of Far Rockaway with medical treatment options and access to proper medical care.
